About the Role
As Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager – Major Giving, you will be responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of major donors and high-net-worth individuals, identifying new opportunities and securing significant funding support. Working closely with senior colleagues and cross-functional teams, you'll build compelling cases for support, develop tailored funding proposals and cultivate long-term relationships that deliver both restricted and unrestricted income.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with major donors and high-net-worth individuals to drive long-term income growth.
- Research, identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities and build a strong donor pipeline.
- Create high-quality funding proposals, applications and presentations to secure support for key projects and services.
- Deliver excellent donor stewardship and maintain strong engagement with supporters and stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships with funders, advisers and internal teams to maximise opportunities and collaboration.
- Monitor fundraising performance, maintain CRM records and use insight to inform strategy and future growth.
- Ensure fundraising activity is compliant with legislation, GDPR requirements and sector best practice.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in major giving or high-value fundraising.
- Proven success in identifying, developing and securing support from major donors or high-net-worth individuals.
- Experience creating high-quality proposals, funding applications and reports.
- Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
