Our client is a well-established charity dedicated to delivering meaningful, long-term impact for communities and stakeholders across its region. Working at scale, the organisation delivers practical programmes, engagement initiatives and partnership-led projects designed to create measurable and lasting change. With an annual turnover of just over £1 million, a team of approximately 25 staff, and a diverse and active volunteer base, the charity works in close partnership with landowners, community groups, public agencies, businesses and other voluntary sector organisations.
The Role
- Provide strategic, operational and financial leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of the organisation’s strategy and long-term sustainability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and evolving strategic direction
- Ensuring financial resilience and diversified income generation
- Overseeing effective programme delivery and risk management
- Supporting and developing a high-performing team
- Acting as an external ambassador and building strong partnerships
- Maintaining robust governance and Board engagement
About You
- Significant senior leadership experience within the charity or voluntary sector
- A strong track record of delivering strategy and managing seven-figure budgets
- Demonstrable fundraising success across multiple income streams
- Experience working with Trustee Boards and understanding charity governance
- Excellent communication, influencing and partnership-building skills
