The Opportunity

Our client, a growing and ambitious multi-academy trust in Greater Manchester, is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to take the next step in their career within a values-driven organisation committed to supporting both its staff and the wider educational community.

Working closely with senior HR colleagues and key stakeholders across multiple schools, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering people-focused initiatives that support attraction, recruitment, employee engagement, organisational development and staff retention.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build effective working relationships with school leaders, business managers and central support teams.
  • Support the delivery of people and organisational development initiatives across the trust.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing development of HR systems and employee portals.
  • Produce HR reports, dashboards and workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the planning and delivery of HR training programmes and networking events.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations and people management matters.
  • Support schools with recruitment processes, safer recruitment requirements and contractual matters.
  • Assist with HR investigations and casework where required.

About You

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has previous experience in a generalist HR advisory role.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Is confident working with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites.
  • Is comfortable using HR systems and interpreting workforce data.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or higher.
  • Experience within the education sector is advantageous but not essential.
