An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Steel Market Research Analyst to join a well-established and respected organisation specialising in global steel market analysis, pricing and forecasting. This position would suit someone currently working within the steel industry or with previous experience across steel sales, purchasing, trading, procurement, market analysis or a related commercial role. The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering, analysing and communicating market intelligence while building strong relationships across the steel sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts and research partners
- Monitor global steel market trends, pricing movements and industry developments
- Collect, verify and analyse market data with a high level of accuracy
- Produce written market commentary, reports and industry updates
- Collaborate with internal teams to support market analysis and data integrity
- Manage and maintain databases and market information systems
