Are you an experienced Service Engineer with a background in dental equipment, medical equipment, or specialist technical servicing? We are currently recruiting for a Dental Equipment Service Engineer to join a growing technical service team, responsible for servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining specialist dental equipment across customer sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled engineer who enjoys working independently, solving complex problems, and providing a high level of customer service.

The Role

As a Dental Equipment Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending customer sites to complete servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance on dental equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service, from initial fault diagnosis through to repair completion and customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on dental equipment
  • Diagnose faults accurately and complete effective repairs
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities to maintain equipment reliability
  • Review daily schedules and prepare all required tools, parts, and equipment before attending jobs
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high professional standard
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding faults, repairs completed, and any further recommendations
  • Provide accurate service reports and documentation following completed work
  • Manage your own diary and workload effectively
  • Maintain excellent customer relationships through professional communication and service delivery

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience servicing or repairing dental equipment (essential)
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
