This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience in forklift trucks, plant equipment, mechanical systems or similar machinery who is looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with excellent earning potential.

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of customer equipment across the region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out planned servicing and reactive maintenance
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
  • Attending customer sites to complete repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing excellent customer service and technical support
  • Managing your own workload while working independently

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Previous experience within engineering, maintenance or field service
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional and customer-focused approach

Desirable

  • Experience working on forklift trucks, plant equipment or materials handling machinery
  • Electrical fault-finding experience
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and industrial equipment
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
