A growing and well-established engineering business is looking to appoint a Team Leader / Contracts Engineer to support continued expansion across the food and pharmaceutical sectors. This is a long-term opportunity suited to someone looking to move away from short-term contract work and take ownership of projects, teams, and their own career progression. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality process installations for major, well-known clients, while leading a small, skilled team on-site.

As Team Leader / Contracts Engineer, you will be responsible for managing on-site installation activities and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and coordinating a team of approximately 6 engineers on-site
  • Planning and organising daily work schedules to meet project timelines
  • Taking full ownership of Health Safety on-site, ensuring compliance at all times
  • Overseeing installation and engineering work within food and pharmaceutical environments
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
