The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a craftsman who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on bespoke, one-off projects rather than repetitive production-line manufacturing. - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with on-site installation projects as required
- Undertake restoration and repair work on existing timber products

- Support, guide and mentor apprentices and less experienced team members
- Contribute ideas and solutions to improve processes and project delivery
What We're Looking For:
- Essential NVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalent
- Previous experience in bespoke joinery, cabinet making, furniture manufacturing or a similar environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Experience within restoration or heritage joinery
- Wood turning experience
- Previous experience supporting or mentoring junior staff and apprentices

- Competitive hourly rate of £16.50 per hour depending on experience
- Enhanced pension scheme
- Enhanced holiday entitlement
- Company van available for business use
- Opportunity to work on genuinely bespoke, high-quality projects
- Supportive and highly skilled working environment
- Long-term career stability and development opportunities
- Involvement in preserving and developing traditional woodworking and cabinet-making skills
