Manufacturing Team Leader with FLT - Nights
Job Description:
Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Dewsbury who are looking for a Manufacturing Team leader (With FLT) on Nights to join their busy team.
About the Business:
Our Client is a company that specialises in the development and manufacture of Chemical Anchoring, repair solutions and anchoring products for the industrial, construction, and DIY sectors.
About The Role:
To lead a team of operators in a given area and to take responsibility for production in that area. Initially this will be the Tavil line and the Autoline. However, over time this may be extended to other areas of the factory. This responsibility includes quality and health and safety. The role is a hands-on role.
£33,000 per annum during daily rotating shifts. Estimated length of time training would be 2 to 3 months dependant on employee’s learning capabilities. Rotating shifts are 6am-2pm (Mon-Fri) and 2pm-10pm (Mon-Fri)
£40,000 per annum once the employee moves onto the nightshift
Permanent nights working 22:00pm – 06:00am Sunday to Thursday (5 Nights) Once trained full from the day shift
After the employee has been on the nightshift for 3 months the salary will increase to £46,000 per annum
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To ability to drive a FLT or to pass the course to do so
- To be responsible for the site during their shift
- To open the site on Sunday evening
- To temporarily move to the AM, PM or day shift with sufficient notice for training or for any other reason when the company deems it necessary
- To strive to meet or exceed the set KPI targets in their area of responsibility
- To ensure an effective handover is carried out. This will mean starting slightly early and finishing slightly late
- To coach, train and develop individuals in their team
- To work as a team with the other team leaders to support the Shift Managers
About you:
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in a manufacturing setting
- To ability to drive a FLT or to pass the course to do so
Prospective candidates should understand that the night shift may change over time. It may change in its composition and in the areas of responsibility.
Training for this role will be carried out on alternate am and pm day shifts
