The predicted salary is between 35000 - 39000 £ per year.

£35,000-39,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + up to 32% bonus + GXP bonus + Tronc. Full time. Location: Mission Mars (Head Office), Albert’s Schloss London.

The Role

This role is a great mix of People, Training and Development, Recruitment as well as on the floor shifts. You’ll own the full people journey: from the moment a candidate applies to the point a team member is thriving in their career. At times you’ll be right in the thick of it, on the floor, in the action, and at the heart of everything that makes Albert’s Schloss tick. You'll work closely with our General Manager, Head of L&D, and Head of Talent, managing a team of FOH Trainers. Whether you've come from a training role or up through FOH management, what matters most is genuine passion for hospitality and people. The role is a mix of days, some late nights, and the weekend because that’s when our business comes alive, and so does the best work. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Training & Development
    • Building and owning structured training plans for new starters and existing team members
    • Tracking training records and completion on our LMS, keeping everything accurate, compliant and on target
    • Coordinating a rolling training calendar of internal and external sessions
    • Identifying training gaps across all departments and building smart plans to close them
    • Supporting menu launches - coordinating cook-offs, product training, and ensuring the teams knowledge is second to none
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Owning the end-to-end recruitment process for hourly roles - from posting to offer
    • Working with department managers to set the brief, shape the process, and get great people through the door
    • Screening, interviewing, coordinating experience shifts, and keeping candidates in the loop
    • Making sure every new starter’s first impression of us is world class
  • On the floor & in the action
    • Delivering engaging first-day inductions and getting new starters excited from day one
    • Running practical sign-off observations during peak service - seeing training land in real time
    • Delivering hands‑on training in product knowledge, service standards, and hospitality skills
    • Coaching and mentoring site trainers so your standards ripple across the whole team
    • Getting alongside department heads on the floor to spot opportunities and raise the bar
  • People, Culture & HR
    • Monitoring team turnover, exit interviews, and acting on what you learn
    • Championing engagement surveys and making sure commitments happen
    • Supporting promotion processes, career pathways, and one‑to‑one development conversations
    • Assisting with ER administration including note‑taking and correspondence
    • Keeping an eye on absence, lateness, and wellbeing - spotting patterns early
