Salary: £35,000 | Tips & Tronc Monthly | Up to 32% Bonus Per Annum paid Quarterly

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something brand new in Shrewsbury! As Deputy Manager at Rudy’s, you’ll be the General Manager’s right hand, helping bring our newest Pizzeria to life and setting the standard from day one. You’ll lead with confidence, inspire your team, take ownership of every shift and ensure everything runs brilliantly, whether the GM is there or not. It’s a high-impact role with real responsibility, plenty of opportunity to make your mark and the perfect stepping stone towards becoming a General Manager yourself.

What you'll be doing
- Driving performance across front-of-house and kitchen in close partnership with the GM
- Leading the management and floor team
- Owning the guest experience at a restaurant level - from service delivery to in-the-moment resolution
- Managing shift labour, scheduling, and day-to-day cost control
- Supporting talent development - identifying, coaching, and actively progressing the team
- Overseeing full compliance: food safety and operational standards
- Contributing to financial performance, reporting, and target delivery
What we're looking for
- Proven experience at Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager level in a hospitality environment
- A confident, credible leader
- The ability to inspire and manage a large, diverse team
- Strong operational knowledge
- Composure and sound judgement when the pressure is highest
- Looking to develop into a General Manager with the support of progression
