We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Officer to lead our initiatives aimed at creating an inclusive workplace culture for clients. This role is pivotal in shaping our diversity strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring that our practices reflect our commitment to diversity for clients.

The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a deep understanding of EDI, human resources processes, training delivery, with the ability to analyse data and present findings effectively. We’re looking for someone who has experience in:

  • Designing, implementing and delivering EDI training programmes across the UK
  • Leading bespoke client training delivery, EDI services and learning products
  • Client EDI specific consulting services
  • Providing client consulting support
  • Shaping policies and initiatives that make a real difference for colleagues from marginalised backgrounds
  • Developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies that align with the organisation’s goals
  • Strong skills in advising and influencing stakeholders on EDI matters
  • Conducting data analysis to assess the effectiveness of diversity programmes and identify areas for improvement
  • Preparing and delivering presentations on diversity metrics and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in diversity management
  • Overseeing the end-to-end delivery and development of recruitment programmes
  • Mentoring associate trainers and supporting their development
  • Launching new EDI services and learning products, including digital and hybrid formats
  • Leading the setup and management of digital engagement projects including podcasts, webinars, and video content

Travel to client venues, nationwide and overnight stays, required. Must be allowed to work in the UK legally.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in learning and development
  • A background in training, teaching, HR or organisational development
  • Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage various audiences
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills to interpret metrics related to diversity initiatives
  • Proficient presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly and engagingly
  • A commitment to create an inclusive workplace culture that values diverse perspectives
