Summary Of Job Duties:
- To supervise and assist in the successful running of the Laundry department supporting the Laundry Manager.
- Together with the Laundry Manager, supervise rota management and attendance of all laundry staff.
- Take lead in assisting Laundry staff ensuring service levels are reached to a high standard.
- Train employees on all laundry procedures.
- Run shift to ensure timely productivity and quality of service provision.
- Arranging of linen and clothing observing hygienic working practices.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Arranging, ironing and packing of clean linen and clothing in preparation for forward delivery.
- Operation of laundry equipment to include: Industrial washing machines, industrial tumble dryers, rotary ironing press, and industrial hand steam iron.
- Work collaboratively and as part of a team with all colleagues in order to maintain the smooth running of the Laundry department.
