We now have an exciting opportunity for a Nurse to join our experienced clinical teams and support the care staff in providing person-centred care for our residents at Elmwood Nursing Home, working night shifts. We provide all of our Nurses with regular training and are passionate about personal development, providing ongoing support to help further your career.

Main duties include:
- Be responsible for supervising the care of residents - developing, implementing and regularly reviewing individual care plans.
- Work as part of a team alongside colleagues to deliver best practice at all times.
- Ensure a person-centred approach to care, maximising the independence, individuality and choice of individual residents.
- Assess the needs of individual residents and identify any issues or problems, referring them to the General Practitioner or other multi-disciplinary team.
- Promote an environment that encourages learning and continual professional development as part of enhancing clinical nursing skills.
- Assist with the assessment of referrals both in hospital and at the home, playing an active role in welcoming new residents to their new home.
- Maintain personal clinical development, practicing in accordance with NMC guidelines and directives.
- Contribute to the effective leadership of staff.
