As a leading provider of solar solutions, our client is looking for an experienced Photovoltaic (PV) engineer to join their team and assist in managing their largest maintenance portfolio to date. They take great pride in the strong relationships they build with their clients and the high standards they set for themselves.

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining various PV systems on a daily basis, including residential, commercial, and battery storage installations. You will be expected to visit client sites regularly, demonstrating professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy. Additionally, you will work closely with the Head of Maintenance and Project Managers, interacting directly with clients and end customers. Flexibility to assist with installations, when required, will also be expected.

Health and Safety are paramount in this position. You will be responsible for adhering to company-specific and site-specific method statements and risk assessments, ensuring that all staff, subcontractors, and visitors are following safe working practices.

Most works will be in the London area but you must be prepared to travel to some further sites. Mileage will be paid at 45p per mile over 100 miles.

The Ideal Person:

  • Will be flexible, hardworking and collaborative with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Be in possession of 18th Edition Electrical Qualification and a Gold ECS Card.
  • Have at least 2 years Solar PV experience.
  • Must have their own transport and phone.

The Package:

This role is offered as a CIS subcontractor position with a well-established solar PV company.

£200 - £275 per day depending on experience.

Monday to Friday.
