We are recruiting for a privately owned country estate near Hertford seeking an experienced Property and Lettings Manager to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of more than 200 residential and commercial properties. This is a client-side, in-house role with real accountability, strong visibility, and the opportunity to drive standards, protect asset value, and deliver a first-class service across the estate.
This role demands someone who can build strong relationships, handle pressure, and maintain a firm grip on service levels, compliance, and day-to-day delivery.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Property, you will lead lettings, property management, and maintenance coordination across the estate. This is a fast-paced, highly reactive role that requires strong judgement, clear priorities, and the confidence to make decisions and hold people to account. You will manage relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders while keeping operations running efficiently, protecting standards, and supporting the long-term performance of the portfolio.
