We are looking for a skilled Ductwork Fabricator who knows their way around a workshop, takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship, and can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities:
- Reading engineering drawings, CAD sheets, and cut lists to lay out jobs accurately.
- Setting up and using press brakes, guillotines, lockformers, rollers, and folders.
- Using spot welding, seam locking, riveting, and tack welding to assemble complex geometric metal sections.
- Ensuring all jointing, seams, and edges are clean, precise, and sealed to exact structural standards.
- Checking dimensions, tolerances, and build quality before dispatch.
Requirements:
- Proven background in sheet metal fabrication or thin-gauge metalworking.
- Hands-on experience setting up press brakes, folders, guillotines, and specialised forming tools.
- Able to interpret 2D/3D technical drawings and working specs independently.
- High standards of accuracy, pride in your finish, and reliable timekeeping.
