Executive Assistant to Managing Director – Operations

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Support
- Anticipate priorities and ensure time and focus are aligned to what matters most
- Prepare briefings, summaries and insights to support decision making
- Act as an extension of the Managing Director – Operations in day‑to‑day activity
- Inbox and Communication Management
- Own and manage inbox, prioritising, filtering and responding where appropriate
- Ensure important information is surfaced and escalated appropriately
- Maintain clear, consistent and professional communication at all times
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Operational Oversight
- Track key initiatives, actions and deliverables across the business
- Maintain oversight of progress and ensure follow‑through
- Identify risks or gaps and take action to address them
- Data and Insight
- Review reports and performance data with a critical mindset
- Investigate anomalies or inconsistencies and seek clarity
- Translate data into clear, actionable insight
- Decision Support
- Ensure the MDO has the right information at the right time
- Provide recommendations, not just information
- Act as "eyes and ears" across the business
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in an Executive Assistant, Business Manager or similar role
- Ability to analyse information and identify issues or inconsistencies
- Experience working with data, reports or analysis (academic or professional)
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- High level of professionalism and discretion
