Code: MJ2315 Business Development Executive On behalf of our client, a leading provider of IT infrastructure and enterprise hardware solutions, we are seeking an ambitious, target-driven Business Development Executive based in Bishop's Stortford.

Our client specialises in end-to-end network installation services, network hardware supply, certified refurbished server solutions, and sustainable IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) & hardware recycling.

This role combines proactive outreach across both warm and cold leads with strategic account development.

Day-to-day operations are based out of our client's office in Bishop's Stortford, with off-site travel to conduct face-to-face client meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and engage potential B2B clients through cold calling, networking, and targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Follow up on inbound inquiries, marketing-generated warm leads, and account development opportunities.
  • Drive opportunities from discovery through technical scoping, proposal delivery, negotiation, and close.
  • Consultatively pitch enterprise solutions spanning network installations, new and refurbished server hardware, and hardware recycling packages.
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings off-site to establish long-term relationships with IT Managers, CTOs, and Procurement Heads.
  • Nurture won accounts to secure repeat business, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement contracts.
  • Maintain detailed records, activity logs, and pipeline forecasts within the CRM system. Candidate Requirements
  • 1–2+ years proven experience in a B2B sales, outbound telemarketing, or business development role.
  • Demonstrated history of achieving or exceeding sales KPIs and targets.
  • Strong phone confidence, objection handling, and client engagement skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, motivated by high uncapped earning potential.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle for client visits
  • Interest in IT infrastructure or hardware solutions is advantageous but not essential. Benefits
