Location: St. Albans, AL1 Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 Working Hours: Monday-Friday (8:30am – 5:30pm) Job Code: MJ2048 Administrator An exciting opportunity for a driven individual who is looking to become part of an ambitious and growing business. You will be joining an established and successful organisation and become a valued member of the operations team. An individual with the ability to confidently learn and operate new software systems would thrive in this position. This role would be perfect for someone who has previous experience within an office environment who is looking to broaden their skill set. You will be highly organised and have the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming telephone calls and service requests, received via both phone and email. * Sort and dispatch calls to engineers or sub-contractors based on the correct skills set, geographical location and service delivery arrangements. * Prioritise urgent jobs and plan and dispatch operative/sub-contract support to address urgent demand. * Work with a live reporting system to ensure all assigned jobs are started and completed within the contract SLA. The successful candidate will have: * GCSEs (or equivalent): Grade C or above in English and Maths. * Proven ability to plan, organise, and efficiently prioritise tasks to manage workload effectively. * Understanding of the Facilities Management (FM) business, or a keen willingness to quickly develop this knowledge. * Excellent telephone manner and strong overall communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
