We are currently recruiting a Senior Project Manager to join the team based in our clients Sheffield office. This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to join and strengthen the current team. The wider team in the Yorkshire region work across many sectors including higher education, residential, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare and more.

The opportunity presents an opportunity to work across various projects and client accounts in the UK and Europe while offering an excellent platform to progress, with a very supportive and robust career development structure. A global company with a strong UK presence specialising in offering project management and consultancy services to the construction industry and ideally you will have come from a consultancy background.

Role Responsibilities
  • To lead and oversee the successful delivery of projects (in conjunction with the support Project Management partners) with a view to securing repeat business
  • Contract Administration (which requires a good understanding of building contracts)
  • Implementation and management of a change control process
  • To assist Associates in the management of the Project management team including line management duties where applicable
  • To support development of targeted marketing material, bid documents, capability statements and attend networking events
  • To assist the Project Management Partners in developing a pipeline of opportunities
  • To support in the development of fee proposals and responses to RFPs
  • To support business objectives of delivering value for money in all circumstances
  • To carry out assigned duties efficiently and in accordance with processes and procedures
  • Comply with established procurement/commercial/contractual strategies
  • Take personal responsibility for complying with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.

Qualifications
  • Construction Project Management degree or a similar construction related qualification with experience gained within a similar role
  • Chartered or equivalent professional qualification or currently working toward - we will provide all necessary support to help you achieve this
