Missing Bean is an independent Specialty Coffee Roasters with Cafés across Oxfordshire and our own Roastery & Bakery in East Oxford. We\’re a friendly, growing team who care about great coffee, good food, and creating places people want to come back to.
We\’re looking for an organised and proactive Office & Operations Assistant to help keep our business running smoothly. This varied role includes office coordination, admin support, HR administration, scheduling, systems upkeep, and basic Health & Safety admin (no formal qualifications required).
What you\’ll do:
- Keep the office organised and support day-to-day admin.
- Assist with scheduling, meeting notes, and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain staff records, support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Coordinate safety checks and maintain simple H&S documents.
- Keep track of systems, software, logins, subscriptions, and renewals.
- Help the team use digital tools (Google Workspace, Notion).
- Support with simple spreadsheets, reports, and recurring tasks.
What we\’re looking for:
- Organised, reliable, and comfortable juggling different tasks.
- Good with digital tools (especially Google Workspace).
- A clear, friendly communicator.
- Happy working independently and asking when unsure.
- Experience in hospitality, office support, or small business admin is a bonus.
What we offer:
- £28,000–£32,000 depending on experience.
- Monday–Friday, office-based.
