We’re on a mission to make migration easy. We started building Marshmallow in 2017. Since then, we’ve grown from 3 to 700+ people, gained unicorn status, raised ~£140M over three funding rounds, turned profitable, insured millions of drivers and lent millions in car loans. But we’re only just getting started. Our goal is to become one of the largest financial services providers in the world. Over the next 10 years we’ll grow exponentially, not only by scaling our existing products, but also by building new ones.

To achieve our goals we need incredibly ambitious, commercially driven people who never settle for ‘good enough’. Marshmallowers are hungry for autonomy and ownership, and would rather improve than coast. Everyone raises standards and has an impact, with a focus on collective success over self-interest. We’ve created an environment where curious, tenacious people win and grow together. If that sounds motivating, this could be the place for you.

  • Owning one of the strategic initiatives of the pricing team, such as building our risk pricing rate structure or supporting our expansion plans.
  • Communicating & getting buy-in for your plans to heads of & directors cross-functionally.
  • Proposing tests, features & segmentations to help us better understand our customers.
  • Working with other members of the pricing team to recommend changes and monitor their impact.
  • Identify new sources of external data that enable us to refine our view of claims risk, and conduct analysis to quantify their value.
  • Working directly with our Engineering & MLENG functions to implement pricing proposals.
  • Providing analytical support in relationships with reinsurers, regulators and other partners.
  • Lead in producing and developing appropriate monitoring for pricing and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the specification, development and testing cycles for deployment of rates.
  • Support in the creation, maintenance and deployment of rating models that predict claims cost and market prices.

Who are you?

  • Proactive: You drive growth by identifying & delivering new opportunities.
  • Analytical: You love solving through cutting data and model outputs to find the perfect split.
  • Commercial: You combine analytical & domain skills to deliver real world impact.
  • Curious: You aren’t satisfied with ‘That’s just how it is’; you immediately investigate further.
  • Owner: You don’t just pull existing levers - you own end to end transformation in your area.
  • Opinionated: You generate your own opinions & pitch to others in an open & honest way.
  • Explainer: You can communicate complicated concepts in a simple way to non-experts.
  • Networker: You build and maintain strong relationships throughout the business.

What skills are we looking for from you?
