The BD Executive will play a key role in supporting the team across a broad range of administrative and operational tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in business development and marketing within a leading law firm. The role is varied, fast‐paced, and offers exposure to a wide range of projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team with production and distribution of content relating to the new Employment Rights Act (e.g., maintaining web pages, distributing client updates, coordinating with fee‐earners to gather content)
  • Conduct research to support pitches, campaigns, industry conferences, and client initiatives
  • Maintain and update client, event, and contact lists
  • Track BD activity and outcomes for reporting purposes
  • Coordinate logistics for events and training programmes (room bookings, set‐up, catering, AV support)
  • Prepare event materials (badges, handouts, attendee lists)
  • Manage attendee communications and registrations
  • Support on‐site delivery and troubleshooting during events
  • Coordinate with fee‐earners to obtain presentations and materials
  • Assist with the preparation and collation of pitch documents
  • Schedule meetings and follow‐ups related to BD activity
  • Support the production and distribution of internal and external newsletters, articles, and podcasts
  • Assist with directory and award submissions and related research
  • Handle day‐to‐day requests from the team
  • Manage administrative aspects of education initiatives and sector programmes
  • Provide overflow support to both the BD Manager and Head of Business Development
