Duties and Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will join the 1st line Service Response team, working closely with the Service Delivery team to provide excellent customer service and resolve technical issues.
- The role involves a 35-hour week on a shift rota, requiring flexibility.
- Act as the first contact for all queries to the Service Desk.
- Prioritize and respond to calls, emails, and requests promptly.
- Log tickets, track actions, and resolve issues following incident management procedures.
- Escalate incidents as needed and collaborate with the wider Technology team.
- Build relationships with stakeholders and share knowledge within the team.
- Represent the Tech team as an ambassador to the business.
Skills/Experience
- Ability to prioritize issues based on business needs.
- Translate technical issues into non-technical language.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Networking, Exchange Online, Office 365, and other listed technologies.
- Qualifications such as MCP and/or CompTIA A+ preferred.
