Business Development & Growth Executive (Content)

A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Development & Growth Executive (Content) to join its Innovation department.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career BD and marketing professional to develop their experience across content, pitches, proposals, directories, thought leadership and client-facing initiatives, working closely with lawyers and senior stakeholders across a dynamic practice.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of legal directory, rankings and awards submissions, coordinating information, drafting content and managing deadlines.
  • Assist with the preparation of pitches, proposals and credentials, producing accurate, engaging and commercially focused content to support new business opportunities.
  • Research, draft, edit and proofread content for directories, awards, pitches, thought leadership and wider business development initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of thought leadership campaigns, working with lawyers and subject matter experts to turn complex legal and technical information into clear, audience-focused content.
  • Maintain content schedules, credentials libraries, lawyer profiles, matter examples, webpages and digital marketing materials, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
  • Work with Marketing, Communications and BD colleagues to package and distribute content across digital and print channels, monitoring performance and engagement.
  • Coordinate contributions and approvals across multiple stakeholders, while supporting wider campaigns, events, sponsorships and client acquisition initiatives as required.
  • The Candidate
  • 1–2 years' experience in a BD, marketing or related role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment, with exposure to written content, pitches, proposals, directories or awards.
  • Strong drafting, editing and proofreading skills, with excellent attention to detail, organisation and the ability to manage competing deadlines and stakeholders.
  • A proactive, commercially aware and collaborative individual with strong communication skills, curiosity to understand complex subjects and confidence using Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or content management systems is advantageous.
