The Department Risk and Compliance work in collaboration with the business to ensure best practice across the Firm, effectively managing all aspects of the regulation surrounding the efficient running of the Firm.

Duties And Responsibilities Managing the performance of the business acceptance function against the Firm's new business acceptance policies, practices and controls.
Working closely with the Conflicts and Financial Crime teams to meet the evolving requirements of the Firm and consistently achieve agreed service levels.
Overall responsibility for resourcing and work allocation in the business acceptance team to ensure a timely delivery of service is being provided to the Firm.
Where necessary directly allocate work to team members based on capacity and developmental needs.
Collaborating across the firm's Risk however significant law firm compliance experience is necessary.
Strong people management skills with proven experience in successfully building and managing a high performing compliance team.
Strong interpersonal skills to be able to present themselves in a commercial and confident manner to a range of stakeholders.
The highest standards of legal rigour, delivered with care in a professional and pleasant manner.
A diligent and effective record keeper.
Strong team player - this role is highly collaborative and requires someone who enjoys working alongside colleagues and takes a supportive and agile approach.
