We are looking for a confident, client-focused and commercially minded property professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who takes pride in delivering outstanding client service, managing transactions efficiently and building lasting relationships with clients and professional contacts.

The successful candidate will have the technical expertise and confidence to manage their own caseload independently, together with the drive to contribute to the continued growth and success of the firm.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion, ensuring transactions progress smoothly, efficiently and in accordance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently, from instruction to completion.

  • Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity and related property matters.

  • Reviewing title documents, investigating legal issues, raising enquiries and reporting to clients on title.

  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, brokers and other solicitors to progress transactions.

  • Reviewing search results, mortgage offers and supporting documentation, ensuring all relevant requirements are satisfied.

  • Managing exchange and completion arrangements, preparing completion statements and overseeing post-completion work.

  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering requirements, lender instructions, regulatory obligations and internal procedures.

  • Providing clear, timely advice and regular updates to clients throughout the transaction.

  • Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring matters are progressed within appropriate timescales.

  • Developing strong professional relationships and identifying opportunities to generate repeat business and referrals.

About You

We are seeking a motivated and experienced conveyancing professional who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation and client care skills.

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.

  • A meticulous approach to file management, compliance and risk management.

  • A proactive, commercially aware mindset and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

  • Confidence using case management systems and digital conveyancing tools.
