Expanding prestigious caterers in NW London is looking for a dynamic hands on head /senior sous chef to run the day to day production kitchen – Jun/July 25 The Company: Expanding Friendly family run London-based, B Corp accredited caterers with an impressive client base currently seeking a supportive head chef or senior sous chef with a focus on training Role Details: Passionate about providing healthy, sustainable, and delicious food additive and preservative free. Our client work with seasonal British produce to reduce their carbon footprint and deliver award-winning catering services for catering company contracts and events/ parties Role Requirements: Personable presentable and customer facing with a good mixture of senior sous head chef /chef experience quality restaurant, contract catering or event catering. Excellent leadership and mentoring skills, in managing a team of 15 chefs- producing over 400 units per day. A chef who can lead from the front, and is excellent with training, logistics, and improving operational processes but isn\’t necessarily wanting creative menu control. Being able to cook fresh from scratch to ahigh restaurant standardand the ability to follow menu specifications for the delivery of sustainable breakfast, lunches, canopies etc Able to lead and direct a team and support with implementation of new systems and processes, also be diplomatic and a people person working directly with senior management team. Genuine interest in healthy food and sustainability. Professional chef training with excellent references. Training experience with health and safety and food safety. Ordering experience Salary & Benefits: 45- 50 k per annum Work hours: Monday – Friday7 AM – 4 PM, with occasional early mornings. No regular weekend work, but a Sunday rota for Monday preparation (5 hours one Sunday every four weeks).(Time and a half) What We Offer: Competitive salary of £45/46k+.
