Miryco is working with a leading player in the insurance and pensions market. Our client is searching for a Technical Business Analyst/Technical Operations Analyst whose primary responsibilities include looking at new deals and the subsequent implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s insurance and pension systems. You will interact with multiple stakeholders throughout the business, particularly with the technology and actuarial/pricing teams. The work is varied and project-based and offers a good deal of freedom and self-direction. This is a great opportunity to join a high‑performing team supporting the growth of a dynamic company.

The role can be summarised as:

  • Lead the Analysis > Design > Development > Testing > Implementation of new features and functionality to the in‑house systems to accommodate new transactions and operational/actuarial efficiencies.

What the client requires:

  • A high‑achieving graduate with 2‑5 years’ work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multi‑task effectively while monitoring deliverables and deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills – experience of manipulating large data sets and/or creating cash flow models.
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as Python is advantageous.
  • Pensions, insurance, and/or reinsurance knowledge.
