Miryco Consultants are working with a high-growth fintech specialising in regulatory solutions, strategy and operations. A private equity-backed business with strong advisory and product divisions, the hiring firm is ambitious to build on an already excellent market reputation and client base.
We are seeking a Senior Engineer (Front End) with strong software experience and ambition to grow and develop their career.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable front-end solutions, contributing to overall system design and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration within a complex, enterprise-grade platform.
- Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React), while leveraging broader language experience (Java, Python) to support full-stack collaboration.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support performance optimization, environment configuration, and scalable feature delivery in cloud-native applications.
- Establish and maintain CI/CD practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), contributing to the automation of testing, builds, and deployments across development environments.
- Lead and mentor front-end engineers, providing architectural guidance, driving framework adoption, and promoting front-end best practices across the engineering organization.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a software developer in a commercial environment.
- Strong python programming experience.
- Experience of managing teams.
- Ability to effectively share knowledge of development experience and help junior developers continue to improve their development skills over time.
- Strong foundations in object-oriented programming.
