Miryco is working with a leading player in the insurance and pensions market. Our client is searching for a Technical Business Analyst/Technical Operations Analyst whose primary responsibilities include looking at new deals and the subsequent implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's insurance and pension systems.

Responsibilities:

  • You will have interaction with multiple stakeholders throughout the business, particularly with the technology and actuarial/pricing teams.
  • The work is varied and project-based and offers a good deal of freedom and self-direction.
  • This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing team supporting the growth of a dynamic company.
  • The role can be summarised as: Lead the Analysis > Design > Development > Testing > Implementation of new features and functionality to the in-house systems to accommodate new transactions and operational/actuarial efficiencies.

What the client requires:

  • A high-achieving graduate with 5+ years’ work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively whilst monitoring deliverables and deadlines.
  • Strong Excel skills - experience of manipulating large data sets and/or creating cash flow models.
  • Familiarity with coding languages such as Python is advantageous.
  • Pensions, insurance and/or reinsurance knowledge.
