Miryco Consultants is partnered exclusively with a high-performing and fast-growing Investment Management business who are looking to add an Operational Risk Manager to the team. You will act as a senior team member, providing 2nd line oversight and assurance to the business, building genuine partnerships and key relationships in order to challenge effectively. This is an ideal role for a Manager who likes to take a hands-on approach to their work.
Overview:
- Engage with Senior Stakeholders across the business to ensure key operational risks are identified and mitigated.
- Lead delivery of in-depth reviews of business operations and the surrounding control environment, particularly areas of change and growth.
- Support the team’s technical work including stress testing, scenario analysis, and operational risk quantification.
- Provide review, guidance and challenge to the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (‘RCSA’) process.
- Carry out root cause analysis and oversee 1st line remediation activity.
- Development and enhancement of the Operational Resilience, business continuity, and crisis management frameworks.
- Actively contribute to risk committees.
Desired Experience:
- Preferably 7+ years of relevant experience within Operational/Enterprise Risk.
- Experience working within Financial Services.
- Strong project management experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Location: London
