Miryco Consultants is looking for a Financial Accountant to join a top Trading firm based in London.

This is an ideal role for a newly qualified ACA within the Financial Services sector looking to make their first move from Big 4.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse financial statements in accordance with IFRS reporting, multi-entity consolidation, intercompany flows, and compliance across VAT, share-based payments, and transfer pricing.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
  • Handle daily accounts and general ledger, as well as monthly management accounts.
  • Collaborate with a variety of teams across the company.
  • Evaluate and monitor financial information systems and recommend improvements where needed.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to enhance financial processes and controls.

Experience:

  • Accounting Qualification: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in financial accounting or external audit roles, within the financial services sector.
  • Strong experience with IFRS, especially in consolidation, intercompany, VAT, and share-based payments.
  • Familiarity with financial management systems and tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) is a bonus but not a pre-requisite.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task.
