About the Role
The Warehouse Lead will lead day‑to‑day material flow across a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll manage a small team, driving high performance while ensuring all inbound, outbound, and internal movements run efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with aerospace and AS9100 requirements. In this role, you’ll own stock accuracy, material availability to production, and the optimisation of warehouse processes, layout, and performance. You will be a hands‑on leader who can motivate people, improve operational flow, and work closely with Production and Supply Chain to keep manufacturing running smoothly, playing a critical part in optimising warehouse performance, supporting lean manufacturing practices, and ensuring materials and finished goods flow seamlessly to meet production targets and customer delivery requirements.
In your role as our Warehouse Lead, you will:
- Lead and develop a warehouse team, setting daily priorities and maintaining a high-performance culture
- Oversee all receipt, inspection, storage, picking, and dispatch activities, ensuring efficient and compliant material handling
- Support manufacturing by ensuring timely delivery of materials to production and maintaining accurate stock levels
- Maintain strong AS9100 traceability, non-conformance control, and ERP/MRP data accuracy
- Drive improvements in stock accuracy, warehouse layout, safety, and workflow
- Implement Lean initiatives to reduce waste and enhance warehouse efficiency
About You
To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you’ll bring solid experience in manufacturing warehouse operations, with a track record of successfully leading a team, running efficient, safe, and accurate logistics processes. A natural team leader with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, you’ll take ownership of performance and lead your team to deliver consistent results and demonstrate the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Proven experience in warehouse, inventory
- Experience within manufacturing/serial production line manufacturing
- Strong demonstratable experience/skills in managing people/a team
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for stock management
- Understanding of traceability, documentation, and quality standards ideally within regulated industries
Desirable
- Experience in logistics management around material flow/goods in and out
- Aerospace, automotive, or other regulated industry experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 or other aerospace quality standards
- IOSH certificate (or willingness to work towards)
- Forklift licence and experience with warehouse equipment
- Understanding of Health
