  • Working closely with production and engineering teams

We’re looking for someone organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn with a genuine interest in building a career in procurement and supply chain.

About the role

This role is highly operational and plays a critical part in supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), reporting, and data accuracy, alongside ensuring materials flow smoothly to production every day. You will be responsible for raising and managing purchase orders, tracking supplier deliveries, maintaining system integrity, and ensuring parts and materials are available to support both live production and new programme launches. A key element of this position is supporting NPI activities including monitoring part readiness, tracking supplier actions, updating project data, and providing clear, accurate reporting on programme status, risks, and delivery performance. Strong Excel capability is essential, as you will regularly analyse data, build reports, monitor KPIs, track supply performance, and present information in a structured and concise way to support decision making.

You will work closely with Procurement, Production, Planning, and Engineering teams, helping ensure the factory has the right materials at the right time to build and deliver aircraft seating to global customers. Building strong, proactive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders will be essential to maintaining delivery performance and resolving issues quickly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys structured environments, systems driven work, detailed reporting, and problem-solving, and who is looking to build a career within supply chain, procurement, and NPI programme support in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support daily use of ERP/MRP systems to raise, amend, and manage purchase orders
  • Help ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time to support production schedules
  • Establish, monitor and drive on programme KPIs, providing clear data-driven insights
  • Support internal teams (production, planning, engineering) with purchasing related queries
  • Supporting Supply Chain Team meetings including tracking actions across the function to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate system data to ensure material traceability and availability
  • Help resolve basic supply issues such as delays, shortages, or order discrepancies
  • Support supplier performance tracking (on-time delivery, responsiveness, reliability)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment across Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing

About you

To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will be highly organised, detail-focused, eager to learn and comfortable working in a fast-paced, process driven environment where accuracy and consistency are critical. You will also have a strong interest in starting a career in supply chain or procurement. You do not need extensive experience, we are looking for someone with the right mindset, attitude, and willingness to develop.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional (Supply Chain, Business or similar)
  • Interested in purchasing, manufacturing, logistics, or aerospace environments
  • Advanced Excel and strong data analysis capability
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional activities and tracking deliverables
  • Comfortable and willing to work with systems, data, and structured processes
  • Understanding of or keen to learn ERP/MRP systems and develop purchasing experience
  • Strong understanding of or keen interest in learning BOM structures and engineering-to-supply chain processes
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and willing to take responsibility for follow up and tracking tasks

Desirable:

  • Any internship or placement experience in supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing
  • Exposure to ERP/MRP systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing environments or engineering basics
  • Interest in aerospace, automotive, or regulated industries
  • Awareness of lean or continuous improvement principles

  • Reliable, consistent, and detail focused
  • Proactive and willing to ask questions and learn quickly
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, structured environment
  • Strong team player who communicates clearly
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage routine, repetitive tasks accurately
