About the role

As a Production Technician, you’ll support different areas of our manufacturing operation, helping transform individual components and sub-assemblies into finished aircraft seats. You’ll play an important part in keeping production running smoothly and ensuring every product meets our high standards.

In your role as our Production Technician, you will demonstrate strict attention to detail, along with good organisational skills and the ability to be able to work flexibly within a fast paced and demanding manufacturing environment as well as:

  • Building quality products: Assembling complex electro-mechanical components and finished products in line with detailed instructions and quality standards.
  • Working with advanced materials: Supporting production processes involving carbon fibre and composite components in clean-room environments.
  • Using specialist equipment: Operating high-specification, electronically controlled assembly tools and manufacturing equipment.
  • Following technical processes: Using computer-based work instructions and sequenced assembly processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and traceability.
  • Getting it right first time: Maintaining excellent attention to detail and taking pride in producing work to the required standard.
  • Supporting the wider team: Working flexibly across production areas to help meet manufacturing priorities and delivery deadlines.

You don’t need to know everything about aircraft seating before you join us. We’re interested in people who have a practical mindset, take pride in their work and are keen to learn.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly or a hands-on technical role.
  • Experience assembling mechanical or electro-mechanical components.
  • The ability to read, understand and follow detailed written or computer-based instructions.
  • An understanding of mechanical assembly, ideally involving metal, plastic or composite components.
  • A methodical approach, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work at pace while maintaining accuracy and following established processes.
  • A positive attitude, good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Most importantly, we’re looking for people who are reliable, motivated and ready to learn. If you enjoy practical work and want to build on your existing skills, we’d love to hear from you.
