About the role
As Marketing Manager you will lead our Marketing activity and take ownership for evolving and shaping our marketing strategy. You will be a general marketeer and play a leading role in telling Mirus’ story, amplifying the work that we do in the aircraft seating industry to enhance our brand presence, strengthen industry positioning and support business development activity. You will be a creative marketeer who takes a hands-on approach, but is equally as comfortable guiding the strategic marketing direction.
Whilst having a demonstrable command of all aspects of Marketing, you will have a particular passion and flair for planning and organising exhibitions, creating insightful long and short copy for social, blog, articles, press release, web and presentations for technical products that are designed to enhance passenger experience. You will be a proactive and creative thinker, curious and with a positive can-do attitude who is ready and willing to build on the existing success of the Mirus brand. Most importantly you will be flexible and be comfortable handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Aircraft seating is a highly prestigious sector of the aerospace industry, and Mirus designs some of the lightest and most passenger experienced focused seats in the industry – which our airline customers use to differentiate their own brands. This is an exciting hands-on role for someone who enjoys combining strategy with delivery in a specialist B2B environment.
In your role as our Marketing Manager, you will:
- Website & Digital
- Manage and update the current website
- Improve SEO and performance
- Oversee photography, video and project content
- LinkedIn & Digital Marketing
- Plan and deliver regular LinkedIn content
- Develop thought leadership content for Directors
- Monitor analytics and optimise performance
- Trade Media & Industry Presence
- Manage advertising and editorial presence in key industry press outlets
- Develop industry PR opportunities and press releases
- Coordinate Mirus’ annual Hamburg Interiors Expo attendance and other shows and conferences
- Identify speaking, sponsorship and networking opportunities
- Content & Brand Development
- Create compelling case studies from completed projects
- Develop capability decks and bid support materials
- Strengthen Mirus’ brand positioning and messaging
- Ensure consistency across all marketing collateral
- Business Development Support
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, gather customer insights, and track industry trends
- Support bids through preparation of customer demonstration seats – working with internal teams to develop the right specifications to support the tender
- Develop structured marketing campaigns
- Assist in tracking leads and marketing ROI
About you
To help Mirus continue our journey of growth, you will bring your expertise within a marketing capacity and a drive for operational excellence along with the following skills, experience, qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience in brand led B2B Marketing (aerospace, marine, other brand-lead technical product industries)
- The ability to manage LinkedIn and digital campaigns
- Experience with trade publications and event marketing
- Proven capability organising and co-ordinating large trade exhibitions/events
- Experience briefing or managing website projects
- The ability to create market collateral – presentations, sales literature etc
- Strong content writing and editorial skills, including press releases, blogs, case studies, thought leadership
- Commercial awareness and understanding of professional services marketing
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, digital marketing platforms and best practices.
- Strong project management and budget management skills.
- An understanding of branding and how this can be used as a differentiator when competing against entrenched competition
- Demonstrable understanding and application of guerrilla marketing
Desirable:
- Experience in a Marketing position within the aerospace or engineering industry
- Post Graduate or Professional Marketing qualification (eg. Chartered Institute of Marketing)
- Experience in a fast-growing SME
- Proficient in using Photoshop, Canva and other marketing software
- Strong and creative copywriting skills
- Experience creating website content in WordPress

Be eligible to work in the UK, comfortable commuting or being based in Hingham, Norfolk and work flexible hours required.
