We are expanding our business and welcoming new members to our team. If you are a compassionate Healthcare Assistant, we want to hear from you. Best rates in the area: £15-£25/hour. This position requires traveling in the High Peak area. A valid driving licence and access to your own car are mandatory. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this role.
Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients’ conditions or behaviours to the appropriate healthcare staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document patient care activities accurately using our app.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Driver and access to a car – mileage will be paid.
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is preferred but not essential; full training is offered.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self‑motivated.
