The Role
We are looking for a skilled, keen, and flexible Installation Technician to join our small, dedicated team. This hands‑on role is critical to the success of our business and involves the safe and precise installation of our specialist mirror systems across various commercial and private settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Travel across the UK to install large, specialised mirrors in various locations, including:
- Commercial gyms and health clubs.
- Dance and performing arts studios.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the existing installation team to ensure all projects are completed efficiently, to the highest standards, and on schedule.
- Site Management: Adhere to all health and safety regulations while on site and maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with clients.
- Logistics: Load and unload equipment, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are ready for each job.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Mirror Installation: Direct experience installing large or specialist mirrors.Steel Erection: Proven experience in structural or non‑structural steel assembly and fixing.
- Fencing: Significant experience in commercial or agricultural fencing, particularly post‑and‑rail or panel installation.
- General Trade Skills: Strong experience in a related hands‑on trade (e.g., carpentry, general construction, shop fitting).
Requirements
- Flexibility & Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively throughout the United Kingdom, with regular overnight stays required (accommodation and subsistence provided).
- Physical Fitness: The role requires manual handling, working at heights, and the physical capability to manage large, heavy materials.
- Driving Licence: A clean, valid UK driving licence is preferred.
- Professionalism: The ability to represent Mirrors for Training professionally and positively on client sites.
