Trapeze Bar is a unique and fun bar and restaurant located in the heart of Shoreditch, East London. The site comprises of a large cocktail bar and restaurant offering Circus entertainment and group fun. Trapeze is a ‘celebration’ bar, catering to large groups with high weekend turnover. We currently have a vacancy for a Chef de Partie.
As a member of a small kitchen brigade, this person must be flexible with working hours and be available to work weekends and evenings.
Key responsibilities for the Chef de Partie:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes as per specification
- Managing and training any kitchen assistant or kitchen porter working with you
- Helping the head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
