Job Description
This awesome themed venue is east London’s most unique high volume, fun & vibrant cocktail bar and club is on the look out for its next inspirational bar manager. With 3 bars in this unit set over 3 levels this is suited an experienced Manager with extensive cocktail knowledge and high-volume late-night experience.
It is never a dull day at this site with entertainment from circus acts to live bands and head line DJ’s in the basement club, this is a great role for a hard working and passionate bar manager to polish their skills in leadership and sales growth and profitability through stock management and P&L controls.
Skills & responsibilities
- Ensure the atmosphere of the unit e.g lights, music, temperature and ambience is appropriate to our customer profile, time of day, and the standards set by the General Manager and Area Manager.
- Ensure the unit is run to the company and legal standards in regards to Hygiene, Health and Safety, and Licensing.
- Develop the staff to help them achieve their potential by assisting in effective appraisal processes
- Build sales by promoting customer satisfaction.
- Manage cost of labour and consumption of stock (food and liquor) while on shift, without compromising the customer experience or company standards.
- Report accurate and target exceeding gross profit margins by incentivising staff to ensure increased sales in high GP items.
- Responsibility for control of all liquor stock in order to decrease surplus deficit by conducting / managing daily line checks, tracking variances, monitoring wastage, and conducting a full weekly liquor stock take.
