We are seeking an ambitious, commercially driven Business Development Manager to join Newman’s Displays to lead this expansion.
The Role
This is a strategic growth role, focused on identifying, securing and developing new revenue streams within:
- Experiential marketing & brand activations
- Corporate events & conferences
- Retail window displays & pop-ups
- Museums & exhibition environments
You will play a key role in repositioning our offering beyond theatre, cinema, and events sector and building long-term commercial partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in target growth sectors
- Develop and manage relationships with experiential agencies, event production companies, retail design teams and brand marketing departments
- Lead client meetings, pitches and commercial negotiations
- Build and maintain a 12–24-month revenue pipeline
- Work closely with internal production teams to scope projects accurately
- Protect and grow gross margin through strong commercial negotiation
- Support development of sales materials and sector-specific positioning
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years’ experience within experiential marketing, event production, retail design, exhibition build or similar creative production environment
- A proven track record of generating new business revenue
- An existing network within London agencies and/or brand marketing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and margin awareness
- Experience pitching creative production services
- Confidence operating in both creative and operational environments
Desirable:
- Knowledge of scenic build, large format print or fabrication
- Experience working with premium brands
