Apprentice Quality Control Inspector

Are you an experienced QC Inspector in the manufacturing sector looking for a temporary part-time role? We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to join our team to provide 6 months of maternity leave cover. You will be responsible for the inspection of machined parts received at our Farnborough site. The purpose of the role is to provide quality control inspection of drawn parts prior to their transfer to stock. This is a fixed term contract position working 3 days per week (22.We are a global business, powered by local geographical presence throughout Europe and Asia with HQ and Corporate department in the USA. The key responsibilities of a QC Inspector include, but are not limited to: Carry out mechanical inspection of drawn parts on receipt and prior to acceptance into stock. The key skills and qualities of the QC Inspector are: Successful completion of a mechanical engineering apprenticeship. Demonstrable proficiency in using analogue and digital vernier callipers, height gauges, micrometres, etc. Experienced in using a coordinated measurement Machine (CMM) (highly desirable). Intermediate level MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint 00 per hour
