Miraxis is building the rights-cleared data factory for robotics and physical AI. The CTO role exists to set the technical vision across the full stack—from capture standards and pipeline architecture to product reliability and evaluation—so Miraxis can ship high-quality datasets repeatedly and evolve toward defensible platform capabilities.
Own end-to-end technical vision: how capture, QA, transformation, packaging, and evaluation fit together into a cohesive platform.
Set architecture and standards for multimodal robotics data systems (video + sensors + proprioception): schemas, validation, versioning, and provenance.
Define and drive the roadmap for the “data factory” platform: ingestion adapters, transformation layer, QA orchestration, and delivery automation.
Build the evaluation and scoring capabilities that connect dataset quality to downstream model performance (acceptance gates, benchmarks, and customer-facing reporting).
Partner with Product, Ops/Delivery, and Research to translate customer needs into shipped capabilities and to make tradeoffs explicit.
Represent Miraxis technically with partners and customers (R&D labs, robotics companies, vendors), establishing credibility and trust.
Proven 0→1 technical leadership building data-intensive systems and shipping products in early-stage environments.
Strong systems thinking across software + data + operations; comfortable reasoning about robotics/physical AI data ecosystems (multimodal logs, synchronization, metadata, dataset integrity).
Excellent judgment around tradeoffs, technical strategy, and team-building; able to lead a remote/hybrid team effectively.
Experience with robotics ML / physical AI workflows and evaluation (VLAs/VLMs, imitation learning, sim-to-real).
Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics data ecosystems.
Remote/hybrid leadership with high ownership and high communication expectations. Remote-friendly.
