Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer, you design, build, and support scalable cloud-native applications powering Workforce Management and Customer Experience. You will implement backend services with Java and Spring Boot while delivering responsive UIs with React and TypeScript, and use Node.js where appropriate. You collaborate across disciplines to deliver modular, observable, and maintainable systems, from design through production. You’ll work on integration-heavy, distributed environments and contribute to CI/CD, testing, and operational reliability. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build modern web applications with React, TypeScript, and accessible UI patterns
- Develop and consume REST APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger contracts and error handling
- Design and implement modular, maintainable solutions using microservices and event-driven patterns
- Use Node.js for lightweight services, integrations, or tooling
- Model and optimize PostgreSQL data structures and queries
- Implement integrations with internal/external systems via REST, webhooks, messaging
- Containerize applications and contribute to cloud deployment patterns and environment consistency
- Build and maintain Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and quality gates
- Instrument applications with logging, metrics, tracing, and error reporting
- Troubleshoot production issues and enhance performance, resilience, and scalability
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and peers through reviews and planning
Key requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack software development including production contributions
- Hands-on Java and Spring (Boot, REST, persistence, security, automated testing)
- Frontend with Angular or React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, component-based design, state management
- Familiarity with Node.js for lightweight services and tooling
- Experience building REST APIs, microservices in distributed environments
- Strong SQL and data modeling in PostgreSQL or similar
- Experience with cloud-based and containerized deployments
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills
- Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, secure API design
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, observability tooling, secure delivery practices
