Position Overview

The Rural Chartered Surveyor will play a key role in providing comprehensive estate management and professional consultancy services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including private estates, institutions, public sector organisations, and corporate entities across the East Midlands region and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional estate management and professional consultancy services
  • Manage property portfolios, including lease renewals and negotiations
  • Prepare detailed management reports for clients
  • Handle residential and agricultural lettings and rent reviews
  • Maintain accurate records and terrier for managed estates
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure property compliance
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and stakeholders to build relationships
  • Assist with departmental administration, meetings, and marketing tasks
  • Work effectively with other disciplines within the office

Requirements

  • MRICS qualification; CAAV qualification advantageous but not essential
  • Up to 5 years of post-qualification experience in rural surveying
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and networking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Full driving licence and access to a car for business purposes
