Mirai Talent is a boutique Data, AI, and Engineering search firm operating across the UK and US. Our mantra is brilliant minds for missions that matter, and it shapes everything we do, from the roles we recruit for to the communities we build. Beyond the search business, we run she does data., a community of 5,000+ women in data and AI, and host the Let's Talk Data podcast, reaching 113k+ subscribers across the UK, US, and beyond. We're not a typical recruitment firm. We're building a brand that people want to be part of, not just a service they use when they're hiring.

We're looking for someone to take the reins on brand, community, and sponsorship, working closely with the founder and director to elevate what she's already built. This is the founder and director's vision; she remains the face of she does data. and the host of Let's Talk Data. What we need is someone who can take a brand that's already in a really good spot and push it further: sharper execution, new ideas, and the capacity to get more done than one overstretched founder can manage alone.

What you'll be doing:

  • Community: Work closely with the founder and director of Mirai and she does data. to grow both communities across the UK and US. Manage and grow the she does data. WhatsApp community day to day, including mentoring cohorts and events. Build out our US community presence as we expand, applying what's worked in the UK while adapting for a different market. Plan and deliver events that bring people together around our mission, not just our brand. Highlight and champion women in data and AI across our channels, sourcing stories and voices worth amplifying. Own end-to-end event management across she does data. and Mirai.
  • Podcast support: Liaise with guests for Let's Talk Data, from outreach through to booking the studio and coordinating logistics. Help ensure a strong, consistent pipeline of good guests, working with the founder and director on who to approach. Support pre- and post-production coordination so the founder and director can focus on hosting.
  • Sponsorship and partnerships: Pitch, position, and win sponsorship deals for Let's Talk Data and she does data. Proactively approach businesses for sponsorship and collaboration opportunities, building a pipeline rather than waiting for inbound interest. Develop new sponsorship products and partnership tiers as the brand grows. Carry a target and report on revenue generated through partnerships.
  • Brand and marketing: Bring Mirai, she does data., and Let's Talk Data together as one cohesive story, while respecting that each has its own voice and audience. Lead our website revamp, with a clear goal: turn it into a genuine lead generation engine. Own content and channel strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, and email.
  • Leadership: Work directly with the founder as a true sales and growth partner. Bring structure to a part of the business that has grown fast and organically, while keeping the creative, founder-led energy that makes it work.

What success looks like:

  • A revamped Mirai website live and converting, functioning as a genuine lead generation tool.
  • A defined, growing she does data. presence in the US, alongside continued growth of the UK community and WhatsApp group.
  • A clear sponsorship pipeline with new partners signed across Let's Talk Data and she does data., against an agreed revenue target.
  • A consistent guest pipeline for Let's Talk Data, with studio bookings and logistics running smoothly episode to episode.
  • A cohesive content and brand presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and email that visibly ties Mirai, she does data., and Let's Talk Data together.
  • At least one new sponsorship product or partnership tier developed and brought to market.

What we need from you:

  • Proven experience in a brand, marketing, or community role with a sponsorship or partnership sales component.
  • Confidence pitching to senior stakeholders and closing sponsorship or partnership revenue.
  • Experience building or scaling a community, ideally across more than one market.
