A global organisation with multi-million-pound revenues is entering an exciting phase of its data and analytics journey. After implementing Databricks and dbt, the business is now focused on building strong analytics engineering capability to drive growth, efficiency and smarter commercial decision-making across the sales function.
This is a true greenfield opportunity where you’ll design, build and optimise the data models and transformations that will form the foundation of the organisation’s analytics estate. You’ll work closely with a wonderful, people-focused leader who cares deeply about culture, collaboration and creating an environment where people can do their best work.
There is significant scope in this position. As the data function continues to evolve and investment increases, the role will naturally expand and grow into a wider team.
You’ll thrive here if you enjoy autonomy, ownership and building things properly from scratch. Strong SQL, dbt, Databricks and modern ELT experience will be key, along with the ability to partner effectively with commercial and technical stakeholders. A proactive, tenacious approach and the ability to contribute both technically and culturally will be essential.
The team meets in London once per month, making this a flexible opportunity for candidates across the Midlands or South.
The role offers a £70,000 salary, car allowance and a 20% bonus, reflecting the impact this position will have on shaping the future of analytics within the organisation.
