Please note this position is full time and is office based at our Norwich Headquarters. The position is not open to remote working. We are looking for a digitally savvy and analytically minded Digital Marketing Analyst to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape who enjoys working with data, uncovering insights, and helping improve marketing performance.
You will work closely with the Head of SEO to analyse website and campaign performance, report on digital activity, and identify opportunities for improvement across channels including paid media, organic search, and website performance. A solid understanding of how paid media works is essential in order to effectively analyse and report on campaign performance. Over time the role will expand to include hands-on optimisation of digital marketing channels.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse website performance and user behaviour using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Produce regular marketing performance reports and dashboards.
- Analyse campaign performance across channels including PPC, organic search, and website activity.
- Interpret data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimisation.
- Work with marketing colleagues and external partners to provide insight into campaign performance.
- Use Excel to manipulate, analyse, and present marketing data.
- Support SEO analysis including keyword performance, rankings, and site visibility.
- Assist with website performance monitoring and optimisation.
- Support the marketing team with insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor digital marketing KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Support optimisation of Google product feeds and campaign performance.
- Assist with paid search performance analysis and optimisation.
- Monitor brand visibility across emerging AI search platforms and identify opportunities to improve brand presence.
- Support product and category level search optimisation.
- 2+ years experience in digital marketing, analytics or performance marketing roles.
- Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Confident in data analysis in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation).
- An understanding of SEO principles.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate data clearly.
- Understanding of PPC / paid media platforms and how campaigns are structured and measured.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Experience using SEMrush or similar SEO tools.
- Basic HTML knowledge.
- Familiarity with AI-driven search and emerging search technologies.
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Experience creating marketing dashboards or automated reports.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented.
- Curious and proactive in identifying insights.
- Comfortable working with large datasets.
- Interest in digital marketing trends and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels combined with a passion for data analysis. They will be comfortable digging into performance metrics, asking questions of the data, and helping the team understand what’s working and where improvements can be made.
